WHAT WE REVIEW BEFORE INSTALLATION
We perform a load calculation in accordance with the applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and evaluate your electrical panel to determine the capacity available for charging.
We position the charger where you park, with enough cable to reach your vehicle, and plan the wiring route from your electrical panel.
If you’re considering a second EV or other electrical upgrades, we’ll factor those plans into the charger setup and plan for the capacity you’ll need in the future.
A COMMON QUESTION
Not necessarily. After reviewing your electrical capacity, we may be able to use an EV load-management or circuit-sharing system to accommodate charging without an expensive panel or service upgrade. We’ll explain which options are suitable for your home.
Let’s plan a charging setup that works for your vehicle and your home.
